APLIKASI KOLOM MONOLITIK DALAM ANALISIS FARMASI: REVIEW

Abstract


Kolom monolitik dapat menggantikan kolom partikel yang saat ini ada di pasaran. Kolom ini dibuat dengan cara polimerisasi in situ, memiliki beberapa keunggulan antara lain, permeabilitas yang lebih tinggi, tekanan balik rendah, ketahanan aliran yang lebih rendah, resolusi dan pemisahan yang lebih baik dengan waktu pemisahan yang relatif lebih singkat dibandingkan dengan kolom partikel biasa. Kelemahan kolom yang ada di pasaran yaitu membutuhkan fase gerak yang cukup banyak, oleh karena itu kolom monolit dengan diameter dalam yang lebih kecil dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut. Kolom monolit berpotensi digunakan sebagai fase diam untuk pemisahan dan analisis obat dalam campuran yang kompleks. Dalam review ini dibahas perkembangan terbaru aplikasi kolom monolitik untuk pemisahan dan analisis farmasi.
