Pengetahuan dan Kesadaran Apoteker dan Pasien dalam Melaporkan Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) terhadap Keamanan Obat

Abstract


Pelaporan Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) merupakan salah satu cara untuk mencegah hal yang tidak diinginkan yang diakibatkan oleh obat yang beredar di pasaran. Apoteker memegang peranan peting dalam pemantauan obat baik dari proses penelitian, pembuatan hingga pemasaran, tentu harus memiliki pengetahuan akan ADR dan bagaimana mengatasinya. Selain itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian akan pengetahuan pasien akan ADR serta penerapannya. Berdasarkan hasil tinjauan dari beberapa literatur diketahui bahwa pengetahuan apoteker dan pasien akan ADR cukup tinggi dimana 93% apoteker dan 75% dari pasien memiliki pengetahuan yang tinggi akan ADR. Namun, kesadaran apoteker dan pasien untuk melaporkan reaksi ADR sangat rendah. Dalam artikel review ini responden berasal dari negara yang berbeda antara apoteker dan pasien, hal ini dapat menjadi penghalang karena perbedaan budaya yang dimiliki oleh kedua kelompok responden. Oleh karena itu artikel review ini melakukan analisis lebih lanjut untuk meneliti pengetahuan dan kesadaran apoteker dan pasien dalam melaporkan AD.
