ProTVF publishes an issue twice a year (March and September) by the Faculty of Communication Science, Universitas Padjadjaran, incorporated with the Association of Indonesian Communication Bachelor: Ikatan Sarjana Komunikasi Indonesia (ISKI) and the Indonesian Television Journalists Association: Ikatan Jurnalis Televisi Indonesia (IJTI) Jawa Barat. ISSN 2548-687X (Printed), ISSN 2549-0087 (Online). ProTVF publishes selected papers under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

ProTVF

ProTVF provides open access to the public to read abstracts and full papers. Every manuscript submitted by the author will be sent to the section editor through the Initial Review processes. Then, the manuscript will be sent to the peer reviewers to get the Double-Blind Peer Review Process. Then, the manuscript will be returned to the authors for revision. These processes take a few months. The peer reviewer will rate each manuscript from the substantial and technical aspects. ProTVF focuses on Television and Film studies. ProTVF receives a manuscript focusing on the following issues with an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach. ProTVF aims to encourage research in television and film studies. Topics addressed within the journal include but are not limited to: 

  • Television studies
  • Film studies
  • Communication strategies in the context of television and film
  • Communication models Used in the context of television and film
  • The study of media texts in television programs and film
  • Marketing studies on television and film
  • Management studies on television and film
