Analisis bibliometrik model pencarian dan pemrosesan informasi dalam studi komunikasi di Scopus

Abstract


Latar Belakang: Di era percepatan informasi, ketersediaan data yang masif menjadi sangat penting bagi individu untuk meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap berbagai risiko sosial, lingkungan, maupun kesehatan. Namun, kemudahan akses informasi ini dapat memicu paradoks informasi akibat ketidakseimbangan kualitas dan jumlah informasi yang diterima. Dalam konteks tersebut, teori Risk Information Seeking and Processing (RISP) menjadi penting sebagai kerangka untuk memahami bagaimana individu mencari dan memproses informasi terkait risiko. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan tren perkembangan RISP di seluruh dunia serta mengidentifikasi fokus utama dari penelitian-penelitian mengenai informasi tersebut. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode bibliometrik dengan basis data Scopus sebagai sumber data utama. Proses seleksi menghasilkan 104 artikel jurnal ilmiah dalam rentang waktu 2016 hingga 2025. Data tersebut diolah dan divisualisasikan menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSviewer untuk menganalisis hubungan antar-unsur seperti tren tahunan, penulis paling produktif, institusi, negara, serta pemetaan kata kunci. Hasil: Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penelitian RISP mengalami dinamika dengan puncak produktivitas pada tahun 2023 yang dipicu oleh urgensi pencarian informasi selama pandemi COVID-19. Amerika Serikat mendominasi publikasi dengan 62 artikel, sementara Yang, J.Z. menjadi penulis paling produktif. Analisis jaringan kata kunci mengidentifikasi empat klaster utama yang menghubungkan konsep inti RISP dengan aspek psikososial, penggunaan media sosial, serta aplikasi pada krisis kesehatan dan informasi medis.
