Pengelolaan Plasma: Perbandingan dengan Sistem Rantai Dingin yang Ada Saat Ini pada Vaksin
Abstrak
Plasma adalah bagian penting dalam darah yang derivatnya dapat menjadi obat seperti albumin, imunoglobulin, dan faktor pembekuan darah. Namun, stabilitas dari plasma sangat bergantung pada beberapa faktor seperti penyimpanan, pengiriman, pencairan, dan hal lainnya sehingga plasma termasuk dalam Cold Chain Product (CCP) sama dengan vaksin yang sudah umum diimplementasikan. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini akan membahas pengelolaan plasma dengan pendekatan seperti pada vaksin. Metode yang digunakan adalah literatur reviu. Sebanyak 27 artikel didapatkan dari berbagai macam database seperti PubMed, ScienceDirect, dan Semantic Scholar. Pengelolaan plasma dimulai dengan mendapatkan darah dari donor dilanjutkan pemisahan dan dibekukan menjadi Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP). FFP disimpan dan dapat langsung digunakan atau difraksinasi untuk mendapatkan obat derivat plasma. Obat ini kemudian didistribusikan untuk digunakan oleh pasien. Suhu menjadi salah satu hal penting sepanjang perjalanan plasma. Hal ini dikarenakan plasma tidak memiliki indikator suhu seperti vaksin yang dikenal dengan Vaccine Vial Monitor (VVM). Diperlukan pengawasan dan manajemen yang ketat sepanjang pengelolaan plasma ini. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat mendorong penyusunan regulasi dan pedoman teknis pengelolaan plasma di Indonesia guna mengimbangi pesatnya adopsi terapi tersebut sebagai strategi kesehatan nasional.
