Peer Review Process

The submitted manuscript  the first time in Cropsaver journal was reviewed by the editor. Every submitted manuscript which pass this step will be reviewed by two reviewers (double blind peer-review). These manuscript will be sent to the reviewer anonymously. Reviewers comment are then sent to corresponding author to take the necessary actions and responses. The decision of the revised manuscript will be then evaluated in editorial board meeting, the final decision of whom are sent to the corresponding author.

This journal is published twice per year, June and December

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

Plagiarism Check

The editors will run plagiarism check using Turinitin for the submitted manuscripts before sending to reviewers. We do not process any plagiarised contents. If a manuscript has over 30% of plagiarism based on the result of Turnitin check, we will send back the manuscript to the author to be revised for the plagiarised contents

Reviewer registration

1. Prospective reviewers can register online independently through the "register" or "register" menu on the journal site. If you feel difficult, you can contact http://jurnal.unpad.ac.id/cropsaver/about/contact
2. The editorial secretariat also provides a Call For Reviewer form Cropsaver Journal as user data that will be inputted by the editorial secretariat at the journal site.
3. As proof of scientific competence / expertise, reviewers must provide the link address or URL of a scientific database, such as Google Schoolar, ResearchGate, Orcid, Scopus, or other scientific databases.

Journal Archives

The CROPSAVER journal stores and uses archive storage facilities in Google scholar and Digital Referral Garba (Garuda), to make a distributed filing system between participating libraries and also allows permanent rights to the library, this journal archive aims to preserve and restore archived data.

Publication Ethics

The CROPSAVER Journal is a journal published by Padjadjaran University. This statement explains the ethical behavior of all parties involved in publishing articles in this journal, namely the author, editor-in-chief, editor, Feer Review and publisher.

Publisher Tasks

Padjadjaran University as the publisher of CROPSAVER Journal is responsible and committed to ensuring that advertising, reprints or other commercial revenues do not have an impact or influence on the editor's decision. In addition, Padjadjaran University and editors will assist in communication with other journals and / or other publishers if needed.

Editor's Duty

• Publication Decision

Editor / Editor of Cropsaver Journal, is responsible for deciding articles that must be published based on input from the results of reviews conducted by bestari partners. Editors can negotiate with bestari partners in making this decision.

• Principle of Justice
          
• Editors / editors evaluate texts / articles regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the author.        
• The editor will ensure the article is in accordance with the focus / scope of the scientific journal. The response from bestari partners will be the basis for the Editor to determine whether an article can be accepted (accepted), accepted with a revision (accepted with major / minor revision), or rejected (rejected).       
• An article is refused to be published due to various considerations, including because articles are not in accordance with the scope of plant pest and disease sciences, the scientific side of the writing is not sufficient to be classified in a scientific writing, fundamental methodological errors, or because the author refuses to do the improvement provided by bestari partners without a logical basis.        
• The publishing order is adjusted to the order in which articles and article revisions are submitted to the editorial board.

• Confidentiality
  
  The editor does not have to disclose any information about the manuscript submitted to anyone other than the author, including best partners.

•  Conflict of interest
  
  Unpublished material but disclosed in the text may not be used in the editor's own research without the written consent of the author.

Feer reviewer assignments

• Bestari partners help editors in making editorial decisions and through editorial communication which is then submitted to the author. Assistance provided by partner partners involves content review of a text / article.    
• Every text received for review must be treated as a confidential document. Manuscripts may not be displayed or discussed with others except as permitted by the editor.  
• Review must be carried out objectively with arguments that support according to scientific rules.

 Author's Duty

• The author writes the script / article based on the original original research report.
• The author writes every reference used in the text according to the rules of scientific writing.
• The author must ensure that the manuscript is written free of plagiarism.  
• The author can ensure that the manuscript sent in the Cropsaver Journal has never been published in other media, and is not being sent to other journals.  
•  The author must agree on the role of each contributor in article writing and has agreed beforehand about the writing of the main author and co-author.
•  The author ensures that research activities are carried out in accordance with the code of ethics
      
• When the author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in the text that has been published, the author has an obligation to immediately notify the journal editor or publisher and work with the editor to withdraw or correct.

Author's Statement

The author's statement about articles does not constitute and does not contain elements of plagiarism, is not being processed and considered in any journal other than the CROPSAVER journal, is willing to agree to the final form submitted and is willing to bear the risk of data accuracy and will not hold the editor accountable for errors in data provided
