Abstract (Times New Roman, 12pt, bold)

Your abstract should be a concise summary of your research, no more than 200 words, size 12 pt, right justified. It should include the background, aim, method, result, discussion, and conclusion of your study. Avoid including references. Clearly state the problem, the purposes of the study, methods, results and conclusions. Make sure the recommendations and implications of your study for nursing are clear. Other sections (Introduction, research methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion) should be spaced 1.5.

Keywords: minimum three keywords, and sorted alphabetically

Introduction (12pt, Bold)

The introduction, written in Times New Roman font size 12 pt, serves as a gateway to the study. It not only provides a comprehensive background but also underscores the significance of the research. The novelty of this study, in comparison to previous research, is a key aspect that needs to be highlighted. This section should conclude with the primary reference used, further emphasizing the credibility of the study.

Research Methodology

This section meticulously presents the research design, population, sample and sampling technique, and the analysis method. The author should provide a detailed account of how the study was conducted, leaving no room for ambiguity. When using a questionnaire as an instrument, the contents and variables measured should be explained briefly. The validity and reliability of instruments, a crucial aspect of quantitative research, should also be elaborated. In experimental or intervention studies, interventional procedures or treatments must be explained. Credibility, transferability, reliability, and confirmability, the pillars of qualitative research, must be thoroughly explained. This section should also detail how research ethics approval was obtained and the measures taken to protect the rights of the respondents. Data analysis using computer programs need not be detailed unless it is original. The location of the study is only mentioned when it is relevant to the study. The methods section is succinctly written in two to three paragraphs, ensuring clarity and transparency.

Results

The study findings are sorted by the study's objectives or the research hypothesis. The result should be clear and concise. If the findings are present in a table or diagram, there must not be any overlap between the findings shown in the table/diagram and the description written in the text.

The table should not use a column line. The table is written in Times New Roman size 10 pt and placed within a single space below the title table. Numbering tables are using Arabic numerals. The distance between the table and the paragraph is a single space. The table is put in the manuscript immediately after its appointment. The table framework is using lines size 1 pt. If the table has many columns, it can use one column format at half or full page. If the title in each table column is long and complex, the columns are numbered, and their description is given at the bottom. The table is placed at the highest or the very bottom of each page and is not flanked by sentences. Avoid interrupting the table by page.

Images are placed symmetrically in columns within a single space of a paragraph. The image is placed in the position of the top or bottom of each page and is not flanked by a sentence. If the image size passes through the column width, the image can be placed in a single-column format. Images are placed immediately after their description in the manuscripts. Pictures are numbered and sorted by Arabic numerals. Captions are placed below the image and within one single space of the image. Captions are written using 10pt font size, bold, capital letters at the beginning of the word, and placed as in the example.

Images published by other authors should obtain written permission from the author and publisher. When the images are in the photograph format, include the original photographs. The font used in the picture or graphic should be commonly owned by each word processor and the operating system with sizes not less than 9 pt. Image files from applications such as Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator and Aldus Freehand can give better results and can be reduced without changing the resolution. For the qualitative study, the findings are commonly written in the form of quotes from participants. Table format is rarely used except to describe the participants' characteristics or recapitulate the themes or categories. If the quote is not more than 40 words, use quotation marks (") at the beginning and the end of a sentence and include participants/ informants who give statements without creating separate paragraphs. Ellipsis (...) is only used to change a word that is not shown instead of a stop sign/pause.

Discussion

This should present the critical thinking and the author’s analysis of the study results. Interpreting and comparing the study’s results and existing knowledge are significant in this section. Reasons for the results and implications for nursing knowledge should be discussed—no more statistical or other mathematical symbols in the discussion. The discussion is directed at an answer to the research hypothesis. Emphasis was placed on similarities, differences, or the findings' uniqueness. It is necessary to discuss the reason for the findings. The implications of the results are written to clarify the impact of the results on the advancement of science. The discussion ended with the various limitations of the study.

Conclusion

This section presents highlights of the study findings, followed by the main conclusion of the research. Limitations and future research should be mentioned. This section can also include recommendations for further research and nursing implications.

References

Seventy-five per cent of references must be from credible journals, with a minimum of thirty references required. References are written in Times New Roman font size 11 pt, single space, and the distance between the references one enters. The references use the hanging on the second line indented as much as 0.25", right justified.  The article must be submitted in the format described in the American Psychological Association style (6th ed., 2009). Please refer to this website for a free APA Style tutorial: http://www.apastyle.org/learn/tutorials/basicstutorial.aspx. All sources in the reference must be referenced in the manuscript, and what was in the manuscript should be included in this reference. JNC strongly recommend using citation tools such as Mendeley.
