Aims

Jurnal Ilmu Ternak UNPAD aims to publish original research results and reviews on farm tropical animals such as cattle, buffaloes, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, poultry, as well as non domesticated Indonesian endemic animals, such as deers, anoa, etc.

Scope

Jurnal Ilmu Ternak UNPAD encompasses a broad range of research topics in animal sciences: breeding and genetics, reproduction and physiology, nutrition, feed sciences, agrostology, animal products, biotechnology, behaviour, welfare, health, livestock farming system, socio-economic, and policy.

Peer Review Process

Jurnal Ilmu Ternak UNPAD applies a peer review process. All articles submitted to the Jurnal Ilmu Ternak UNPAD will be reviewed in double blind review  by the reviewers. In general, each article will be reviewed by two reviewers. The responses from these reviewers will be used as the basis for the Editor to determine whether an article is accepted, accepted with major/minor revision, or rejected. An article is rejected for publication due to various reasons, including the article does not fit the scope of agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries and bioscience and the scientific side of the article is inadequate to be classified in a scientific paper, a basic methodological error, or because the author refuses to make suggestions. improvements provided by reviewers without a logical basis. All submitted articles will be checked for plagiarism using anti-plagiarism software (Turnitin).

Recruitment of reviewers is carried out based on the field of science and has published scientific papers in the field of Animal Science and Technology.

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Ilmu Ternak Universitas Padjadjaran is a Journal published online twice a year in the middle of the year (June) and at the end of the year (December). Each issue has 10 articles.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Jurnal Ilmu Ternak Universitas Padjadjaran does not charge for Article Processing Charges (APCs).

Every article accepted by Jurnal Ilmu Ternak Universitas Padjadjaran will be an object to Grammarly and Turnitin writing-enhancement program conducted by Jurnal Ilmu Ternak Universitas Padjadjaran Editorial Board
